Saughall 0 - Vauxhalls Astras 6

Even though we lost 6 - 0 the performance from the lads was ten times better than the week before with all of them giving 110 % and the result really didn't justify how well we played with a determined second half performance well done lads !!! Battle like this and the results will come our way !

Saughall 0 Castrol Athletic 4

Considering how well we have played this game was one to forget as the players did not turn out and might as well stay at home as their performance was well below par and looked like a bunch of dish-clothes. I hope they play better next week. which is gonna be a tough game against Vauxhalls .

Saughall 4 Elton Youth 0

A fine display and a good team effort in the first 25 minutes which saw us attack the opposition time and time again and eventually we scored a goal by jack booth . And if it wasn't for their goal keeper it would have been more.

Second half : we changed the team around and played just as well and bagged 2 more goals 1 by Liam Bytheway-Jackson and the other was by Cameron Deas. Our new signing Matty played very well in his right back position for the time he was there but as we were doing so well we put him in goal to let the keeper have a bit of a warm up as he was cold from standing around doing nothing . When Jake came out of goal he played very and scored a goal himself which was a well taken goal .

Well done lads keep the fab teamwork going !

Malpas Reds 3 Saughall 2

Saughall Colts played very well with a good performance for the full 50 minutes we were a match for Malpas Reds in all departments and if it wasn't for a couple iffy decisions by Chris the referee we would have won or at least drawn but on the whole I was very satisfied by the teams performance well done lads!

Saughall 2 Malpas Blacks 2

What a game this was! We played extremely well and in the first 25 minutes we should of been 4 or 5 goals up if it wasn't for some superb goal keeping by the Malpas keeper who kept them in the game. Despite this onslaught in the first half we only managed to score one goal but fair dues to Malpas as they gave as good as they got and bagged a goal themselves.

Second half Saughall again applied the pressure but Malpas stood up well to us with some fine football from both sides as this is Malpas weeker team overall i think they played better then the reds. We both scored a goal each which secured a 2-2 draw for the neutral this would of been a fair result.

Remarks for the referee Chris this week he got everything a 100% right so well done him he made amends to the week before!

Saughall 1 v 6 Vauxhall Astras

Saughall started off ok but gave away a soft goal and then Vauxhalls got one more to make it 2 - 0 at half time. The u10s to be far played ok in the first half . But when we came out for the next half we were terrible and conceded 4 more goals within the first 15 mins. I then changed the team around a bit which seemed to make a difference and for the last 10 minutes we woke up and started to get stuck in and played some good football and was a match for Vauxhalls and ended up getting a goal back and to be fair to the lads the build up to the goal was good and Samuel Smith took his goal really well. Which we have been doing in training well done Samuel . If we had played the whole game like we did in the last 10 I am sure the score would not have been so bad.
